    When my mom would cook zucchini it was so awful that I would gag trying to swallow it. It tasted so horrible that I had a Pavlovian gag response simply from its mention.

    Happily, my wife cooks this vegetable in a number of ways, and it always tastes wonderful. She has turned my culinary tastes completely upside down.

    Who would believe that a guy who could once wolf down two Double-Doubles, and a Cheeseburger, all with fries hardly noticed his transition to becoming a vegetarian.
